Shipping Policy

This policy covers items purchased through our parts store. Custom motorcycle builds and commission work are handled separately, as outlined below.

Parts and merchandise orders

Order processing: Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 2 to 5 business days. John works in the workshop Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, so dispatch may occasionally fall outside this window around those days. We will let you know if an item is delayed beyond what's stated at checkout.

Carriers: We ship using Australia Post and/or other courier services, selected based on the size, weight, and destination of your order.

Domestic shipping: We ship to addresses within Australia. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and the weight of your order.

International shipping:  We ship to selected international destinations. International orders may be subject to import duties, taxes, and customs charges imposed by the destination country, which are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the item price or shipping cost.

Tracking: Where available, you will receive a tracking number by email once your order is dispatched.

Shipping costs on faulty goods: If an item you receive is faulty, not as described, or otherwise fails to meet a consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law, we will cover the cost of return shipping. This does not apply to change-of-mind returns.

Lost or damaged in transit: If your order arrives damaged or does not arrive at all, please contact us at info@dmccycles.com with your order number so we can investigate with the carrier and arrange a repair, replacement, or refund as appropriate.

Custom builds and commission work

Custom motorcycle builds are not shipped in the same way as parts store items. Delivery, collection, or transport arrangements for a completed build are agreed individually with each customer as part of the build contract, and may include workshop collection or arranged freight depending on the customer's location and the nature of the build. Timeframes for custom work are provided in your individual quote and build agreement, not this policy.
